Turo alternative with this car

If you need a rental car, the 2002 Lexus IS is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Reading the spec sheet

It uses the 3.0L 6-cylinder and rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

By the EPA's combined rating of 12.4 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 37 litres. For 1,000 km, budget about $217 at our price setting.

How big it is

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 623 litres of luggage space fit bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Who it is for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Rent it from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

The rules, briefly

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

How to book

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
