Turo alternative and the Mazda MPV
Want to know if the Mazda MPV suits a rental car? Read on. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
What the figures tell you
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Who the MPV suits
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
The MPV in everyday use
A tall roof and wide doors make it easy to load people and bags.
Renting it
Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
From request to keys
Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
Who qualifies
Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.

Can I rent a Mazda MPV in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
