Getting the car booked

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

The rules, briefly

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
