Farmbrook and the 1500

Farmbrook is about 544 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Farmbrook.

If you are near Farmbrook, Dogwood Hollow, Greenbrook and Oaktree Hollow are close too.

The numbers in plain words

Under the hood: the 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged and four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

A combined rating of 19.8 L/100 km works out to about 59 litres per 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $34.65 to drive 100 km.

Best uses

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Practical details

A pickup is long and tall, so plan for parking and low garages.

Renting this car

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer.

Checking your details

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Booking in plain terms

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
