Rules for renters

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
