About the 2017 Tesla Model X
This 2017 Tesla Model X page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
What the figures tell you
The engine is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.
Energy use is rated at 23.3 kWh/100 km, about 70 kWh for 300 km. On paper it goes 475 km between charges, less in winter. In energy, every 100 km costs about $3.50 at our price setting.
Space, size and seats
As a full-size SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.
A good match for
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one.

Your request, our offer, your keys
Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
Driver requirements
From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
