Turo alternative: TVR

Turo alternative and the TVR

Turo alternative and the TVR: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The numbers in plain words

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Can you rent one?

Name the TVR model you want in your request, and the offer confirms what we can give you. We have no TVR on the site right now. Send a request with the model you want, and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

Booking, step by step

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What we need from you

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
