Turo alternative: Vector W8

About the Vector W8

For a rental car, the Vector W8 could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Engine and fuel

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Inside and out

As a two-seat sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Renting it

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

Booking made plain

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

What to have ready

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
