Turo alternative: Yugo

Renting the Yugo

This page looks at the Yugo for anyone searching for Turo alternative. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

What the figures tell you

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Who it is for

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Can you rent one?

No Yugo is in our fleet today; ask for one in a request and we search for your dates. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

How a booking comes together

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Who can rent

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
