Renting the 1982 Audi 5000
Renting the 1982 Audi 5000 as a car for rideshare or delivery work works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. For rideshare or delivery work, tell us in your request; weekly and monthly rates come first for that kind of use. Tell us in your request that the car is for app work.
Reading the spec sheet
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Space, size and seats
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with.
Renting it
Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Driver requirements
You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
Getting the car booked
First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You pay when you approve, and only then.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
Ready to ask?
Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.

Uber Eats car rental: the 1982 Audi 5000
Can I rent a 1982 Audi 5000 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
