A note on Java

Java is about 1,072 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Tara Village, South Side and Howe are the neighbouring places on our list.

Specs, explained

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Rated at 7.8 L/100 km combined, it needs around 23 litres for a 300 km round trip. Every 100 km costs about $13.65 in fuel at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Practical details

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Before you rent

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Booking with CarmaCars

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Ask us

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
