Renting for Mapleton

We have no location in Mapleton; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,144 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Mapleton starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Gowland Mountain, Pleasant Vale and Meadow are the neighbouring places on our list.

What the figures tell you

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Space and size

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Before you rent

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

What happens when you ask for a car

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Over to you

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
