About the BYD e6
This page joins two things: Uber Eats car rental, and the BYD e6 in plain words. Tell us in your request that the car is for app work. Weekly rates suit gig work; trips of 7 days or more use them.
What the specs mean
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Space, size and seats
The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.
Good uses for the e6
It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
Can I rent it?
Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
The steps
You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
Before you rent
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Uber Eats car rental: the BYD e6
Can I rent a BYD e6 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
