Renting for Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Places around Java include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Reading the spec sheet

The 3.6L 6-cylinder, paired with a 9-speed automatic, drives it. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Expect about 32 litres for every 300 km, going by its 10.6 L/100 km combined rating. For 1,000 km, budget about $164.30 at our price setting.

What the Pacifica is like

Being a minivan, it carries people and their bags without fuss.

Best uses

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

How renting with us works

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Renting: the basics

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
