Uber Eats car rental: black 2021 Ford Escape SE in Java

Uber Eats car rental with this car

The 2021 Ford Escape SE is on this page for Uber Eats car rental: here is what to know before you request one. For rideshare or delivery work, tell us in your request; weekly and monthly rates come first for that kind of use. Each platform sets its own vehicle rules, by city and model year; check them before you book.

The Escape and Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 1,072 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Tara Village, South Side and Howe are the closest places to Java on our list.

Engine and fuel

The 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo, paired with an 8-speed automatic, drives it. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Rated at 7.8 L/100 km combined, it needs around 23 litres for a 300 km round trip. That works out to about $12.09 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who the Escape suits

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

What to expect from the Escape

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Renting the Escape from CarmaCars

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What to expect when you book

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Rules for renters

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Make a request

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
