Uber Eats car rental: the GMC C7
For a car for rideshare or delivery work, here is what the GMC C7 brings, and how to request one. Each platform sets its own vehicle rules, by city and model year; check them before you book. Weekly rates suit gig work; trips of 7 days or more use them.
Under the hood
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
A good match for
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Living with the C7
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with.
Rent this car
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Before pickup
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
Booking made plain
Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Can I rent a GMC C7 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
