About the 2001 Lexus LS
Want to know if the 2001 Lexus LS suits a car for rideshare or delivery work? Read on. Each platform sets its own vehicle rules, by city and model year; check them before you book. For rideshare or delivery work, tell us in your request; weekly and monthly rates come first for that kind of use.
Under the hood
The 4.3L 8-cylinder does the work, through a 5-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
By the EPA's combined rating of 12.4 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 37 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $217.
When the LS makes sense
It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Space and size
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 453 litres of luggage space fit a family's bags for a long weekend.
Getting this car from us
Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
How to book
Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.
You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
The rules, briefly
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
Over to you
When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
