Renting the Mazda 5
The Mazda 5 for a car for rideshare or delivery work: the facts first, then the booking. Each platform sets its own vehicle rules, by city and model year; check them before you book. Weekly rates suit gig work; trips of 7 days or more use them.
Reading the spec sheet
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
The 5 in everyday use
A tall roof and wide doors make it easy to load people and bags.
When the 5 makes sense
It suits groups, airport runs with luggage and family trips. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Rent this car
Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
The booking steps
Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.
You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
Driver requirements
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Can I rent a Mazda 5 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
