Uber Eats car rental and the 2011 Mazda MX-5
Here is the 2011 Mazda MX-5, for anyone after a car for rideshare or delivery work. Weekly rates suit gig work; trips of 7 days or more use them. Tell us in your request that the car is for app work.
What the figures tell you
Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder and rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
By the EPA's combined rating of 9.7 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 29 litres. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $16.97.
What the MX-5 is like
As a two-seat sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second.
Good uses for the MX-5
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Getting this car from us
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Your request, our offer, your keys
You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
Renting: the basics
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
Over to you
Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
