What the specs mean

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 21 litres, from its 7.1 L/100 km rating. In energy, every 100 km costs about $11.01 at our price setting.

What to expect from the Sentra

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. With 396 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Our Sentra cars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Your booking, in three steps

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

The rules, briefly

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
