Uber Eats car rental and the Rivian
Uber Eats car rental and the Rivian: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Each platform sets its own vehicle rules, by city and model year; check them before you book. Tell us in your request that the car is for app work.
Under the hood
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Renting it
Name the Rivian model you want in your request, and the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. No Rivian is in our fleet today; ask for one in a request and we search for your dates. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
The rules, briefly
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.
For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
How a booking comes together
Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
Still deciding?
Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.

Uber Eats car rental: the Rivian
Can I rent a Rivian in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
