Bald Knobs and the Forester

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Bald Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 568 km from Bald Knobs, and does not deliver there.

Engine and fuel

The 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The combined figure, 8.2 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.71.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Inside and out

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Renting it

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person.

How renting with us works

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Rules for renters

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Questions first?

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
