The figures, translated

Its powertrain is the electric motor with rear-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Its rating is 15.3 kWh/100 km: about 46 kWh for 300 km. Rated range: 584 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. In money, 1,000 km costs about $23 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

How big it is

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is rated at 425 litres: a family's bags for a long weekend.

Can you rent one?

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

What we check

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

The steps

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
