A note on Farmbrook

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Farmbrook. We have no location in Farmbrook; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 544 km away.

What the specs mean

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Combined fuel use is 6.6 L/100 km: about 20 litres for 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $102.30 at our price setting.

Size and space

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. At 510 litres, the trunk fits a family's bags for a long weekend.

Who it is for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

In our fleet

Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What to expect when you book

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

What we ask of drivers

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
