Java and the Corolla

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the closest places to Java on our list.

The numbers in plain words

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 6.6 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 20 litres. That works out to about $10.23 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

What the Corolla is like

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. With 510 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes a family's bags for a long weekend.

Can I rent it?

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Licence, age and card

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

From request to keys

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You pay only once you approve the offer.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
