What the specs mean

Its 1.8L 4-cylinder drives through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 22 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.3 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $113.20.

Size and space

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. For luggage, 368 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the Corolla

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Renting it

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

What we need from you

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

The steps

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
