Van rental: the 2021 Audi A4 Komfort

Want to know if the 2021 Audi A4 Komfort suits a van or a seven-seat car? Read on. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

Farmbrook and the A4

The pages for Hannover, Crestwood Village and Mountain Village cover the areas next door.

What the figures tell you

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Its combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km, which means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Can you rent one?

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

Before you rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Requesting a car

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Next step

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
