Engine and fuel

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The EPA rates it at 8.3 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 25 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Practical details

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Rent this car

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

How it works

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Driver requirements

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
