What the figures tell you

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

A combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

Best uses

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Room inside

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

How to book

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Driver requirements

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
