Reading the spec sheet

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

Space and size

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Getting this car from us

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

Before you rent

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
