Specs, explained

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 9.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 28 litres of fuel. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $43.26 at our price setting.

How big it is

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well. In plain terms, its 481 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Renting it

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What to expect when you book

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Checking your details

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
