Before you rent

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
