Van rental: Dodge Lancer

Renting the Dodge Lancer

This page looks at the Dodge Lancer for anyone searching for van rental. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

Engine and fuel

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Who rents the Lancer

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

What to expect from the Lancer

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk.

Renting this car

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

What to have ready

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

From request to keys

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
