Van rental and the GMC C6
The GMC C6 is on this page for van rental: here is what to know before you request one. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.
What the figures tell you
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Who the C6 suits
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Size and space
Being a car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.
Rent it from us
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Rules for renters
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Booking with CarmaCars
Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Can I rent a GMC C6 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
