Before you rent

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Booking with CarmaCars

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
