Van rental: 2021 GMC Terrain Denali in Ruby

Van rental: the 2021 GMC Terrain Denali

Van rental and the 2021 GMC Terrain Denali: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

Renting for Ruby

Ruby is about 3,105 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Ruby.

If you are close to Ruby, you may also be near Old Glory, Oro Blanco and Casa Piedra.

Under the hood

The 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 9-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

A combined rating of 8.7 L/100 km works out to about 26 litres per 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.49 at our price setting.

What the Terrain is like

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height. For luggage, 368 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the Terrain makes sense

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Can I rent it?

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What we ask of drivers

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

From your dates to the handover

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

When you know your dates

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
