Van rental: silver 2021 Jeep Compass Trailhawk in Java

Van rental with this car

If a van or a seven-seat car is the plan, the 2021 Jeep Compass Trailhawk is worth a look; here is why. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

The Compass and Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,933 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Close by are Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland, each with its own page.

Under the hood

The 2.4L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Rated at 9.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 28 litres for a 300 km round trip. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $14.42.

Who the Compass suits

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

What to expect from the Compass

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Getting this car from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

How to book

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Driver requirements

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Ready to ask?

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
