The 2001 Lexus LS: Van rental

Want to know if the 2001 Lexus LS suits a van or a seven-seat car? Read on. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

Under the hood

It is powered by the 4.3L 8-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

A combined rating of 12.4 L/100 km works out to about 37 litres per 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $21.70 in fuel at our price setting.

Inside and out

As a large sedan, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is 453 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

A good match for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Renting it

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

Licence, age and card

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Your request, our offer, your keys

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
