Van rental and the 2003 Lexus LS
Renting the 2003 Lexus LS as a van or a seven-seat car works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.
The figures, translated
The powertrain to know here is the 4.3L 8-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
It is rated at 12.4 L/100 km combined, so budget about 37 litres for 300 km. That works out to about $21.70 per 100 km at our price setting.
When the LS makes sense
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
How big it is
Being a large sedan, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 453 litres of luggage space fit a family's bags for a long weekend.
Renting it
Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Licence, age and card
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Requesting a car
The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
Over to you
The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
