Renting the PAS Pas-Syclone
Van rental: the PAS Pas-Syclone. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.
What the specs mean
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Space and size
Being a pickup truck, it trades parking ease for a cargo bed.
Good uses for the Pas-Syclone
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
What we ask of drivers
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
Request, offer, keys
You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.
Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Can I rent a PAS Pas-Syclone in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
