Renting for Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

If you are near Java, Selby, Lowry and Sitka are close too.

Reading the spec sheet

The powertrain here is the 5.7L 8-cylinder with rear-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

The EPA rates it at 13.6 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 41 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $63.24 in energy at our price setting.

Inside and out

It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.

Good uses for the 1500

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits moving day, renovation runs and anything that needs an open bed.

Renting it

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What you need to rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

How renting with us works

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

One more step

Find a car you like and ask for your dates.
