Van rental: the Saab 900
This page joins two things: van rental, and the Saab 900 in plain words. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.
Specs, explained
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Who the 900 suits
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
Living with the 900
As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city.
Rent it from us
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
What happens when you ask for a car
A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. You pay when you approve, and only then.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
Renting: the basics
You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Can I rent a Saab 900 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
