Van rental: silver 2015 Toyota Corolla LE in Java

Van rental and the 2015 Toyota Corolla LE

Here is the 2015 Toyota Corolla LE, for anyone after a van or a seven-seat car. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

The Corolla and Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Next door to Java are Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Engine and fuel

Under the hood: the 1.8L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.5 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 23 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $11.63 at our price setting.

What to expect from the Corolla

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is 368 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Rent it from us

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Before pickup

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Request, offer, keys

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Your move

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
