Van rental: 2016 Toyota Corolla S in Patsy

The 2016 Toyota Corolla S: Van rental

Van rental: the 2016 Toyota Corolla S. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

A note on Patsy

Patsy is about 1,196 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Patsy starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Elaver, Cherry Valley and Midland are the neighbouring places on our list.

What the specs mean

The 1.8L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.5 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 23 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $116.30.

Room inside

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. For luggage, 368 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Rent this car

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Booking made plain

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

What to bring

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
