Van rental: black 2016 Toyota Corolla S in Yameri

Van rental with this car

For a van or a seven-seat car, the 2016 Toyota Corolla S is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

A note on Yameri

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Yameri starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Yameri is about 3,364 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Close by are San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec, each with its own page.

Engine and fuel

The powertrain here is the 1.8L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Plan on about 23 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.5 L/100 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $116.30 at our price setting.

Inside and out

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. EPA lists 368 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Renting this car

Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

The rules, briefly

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

The booking steps

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Talk to a person

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
