Renting for Java

Next door to Java are Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

The numbers in plain words

Power comes from the 1.8L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 22 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.3 L/100 km combined rating. A 300 km weekend costs about $33.96 in energy at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Living with the Corolla

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Luggage space is 368 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Requirements

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Booking in plain terms

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
