Van rental: 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE in Java

Van rental and the 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE

For a van or a seven-seat car, here is what the 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE brings, and how to request one. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

The Corolla and Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,933 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Places around Java include Maydelle, Mewshaw and Oakland.

Engine and fuel

It runs the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated at 7.3 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 22 litres. That works out to about $11.32 per 100 km at our price setting.

The Corolla in everyday use

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the Corolla makes sense

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Our Corolla cars

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Your booking, in three steps

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

What we check

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
