Van rental: 2000 Volvo FML

About the 2000 Volvo FML

Van rental and the 2000 Volvo FML: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

Engine and fuel

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Who the FML suits

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Inside and out

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway.

Getting this car from us

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

What we ask of drivers

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Booking, step by step

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
