Wax: your i8
For the 2017 BMW i8, exterior detailing starts with a quote from a person, never a guess. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
Your i8, up close
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a small car, it is a straightforward size for this work.
Booking the work
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
A rental while we work
Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. We collect the rental when your car is ready. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Aftercare
Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car. Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior.
Planning around the work
You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work. If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in.
What goes into a quote
The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly.
A few things first
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together.
