Your 1981 Dodge Dynasty: the work
CarmaCars takes requests for exterior detailing on the 1981 Dodge Dynasty, and rents you a car while yours is in. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
The car itself
As a mid-size car, it is a straightforward size for this work. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Your request
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Ask anything about the work in the request. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
A rental while we work
Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. A rental means the work does not stop your week. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Planning around the work
We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
What affects the price
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer.
Looking after it afterwards
Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.
On the day
Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together.
When you know your dates
Book the work and a rental in one request.
Request wax
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
